Waiting for Forza Horizon 6 isn't that easy for me, and I hope that every racing fan has the same sentiment now. The more I was getting to see the leaks and official teasers of Forza Horizon 6, the more it sparked the curiosity in me to play it ASAP. Out of that itch, I started looking for games that can fill that "curiosity" gap until FH6 arrives.

If you are like me and can't just keep calm to dive into the racing world of Forza Horizon 6, don't worry, I have put a list of games to get a Forza Horizon-like racing experience right from the comfort of your home now.

Assetto Corsa Evo

If you are someone who wants the real feel of cars rather than flashy festivals, Assetto Corsa Evo is genuinely made for you. Compared to Forza Horizon, the Evo feels more realistic, and this is what makes it appealing. In this game, you will get the freedom to drive and enjoy detailed environments without being stuck in a continuous loop. Until FH6 comes to the table, you can explore Evo's realistic, unpredictable twists and turns that will not only test your driving but also your decision-making skills.

F1 25

Well, this is different, but you will be surprised to know that F1 25 has a huge fan base since it offers a massive and high-quality racing experience that Horizon fans crave. The game focuses on big race weekends and career progression that makes playing meaningful. Also, the achievements and race results will keep you hooked and encouraged to dive deeper into core mechanics. I enjoy playing it, particularly when I want clean visuals and some other races that actually feel like I am behind the wheel. Collectively, F1 25 has everything in place, from the career mode to overall presentation.

The Crew Motorfest

The Crew Motorfest exerts the same Horizon vibe from the beginning. The big, colourful, and dynamic world will never let you die out of boredom. Motorfest has a really nice open world that will give you the freedom to just drive around. While it is to be noted that the game is not as smooth as Horizon, but if you want something that instantly reminds of Forza Horizon titles, Motorfest remains a good choice.

Gran Turismo 7

Gran Turismo 7 is a perfect choice if you prefer clean racing and have a special love for cars. Unlike the FH series, the Turismo 7 has no open worlds and festival-style events. Still, the real catch is the game that makes every car and race special by doubling down on realism. Races are designed to test patience and skills rather than speed, which makes the victory feel like a win.

Forza Horizon 4

It may sound peculiar, but if you are waiting for Horizon 6's arrival, stepping back into previous sequels, particularly 4, makes sense. Why? Because experiencing a variety of stuff, from open worlds to that signature festival atmosphere, will help you understand what you will actually get in the newest sequel. Whenever I want to revisit the Horizon magic, FH4 is my go-to choice.

All Hail The Monster : Need for Speed Franchise

The list is incomplete without my personal favourite, Need for Speed (NS). Whenever I want something louder and less polished, I instantly turn on the NS. It is more story-focused and arcade-heavy than Forza Horizon, but the customisation options and open worlds make it a worthy alternative that you must try.

For NS fans, defeating every opponent on the Blacklist and finally getting the BMW M3 GTR remains a nostalgic moment that makes the title stand out from other racing games.
