It’s February, and whispers are getting louder in the PlayStation community as Sony has spilled the tea once again… and it’s piping hot.
Sony is expected to drop the official lineup of PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium for February 2026 either tomorrow or at the State of Play event, which is going to be held on February 12, 2026; however, a fragmented section of the lineup has been leaked by Billbil-Kun from Dealabs.
According to the reports, Insomniac’s Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is on its way to add a strong presence in the PS Plus February 2026 catalogue.
What’s More in the PlayStation Plus February 2026 Catalogue
The PlayStation community is going insane due to Marvel’s Spider-Man 2's addition to the line-up. Well, it’s Spider-Man (a web-zipping satirical mutation we have always been rooting for). Being the sequel to Insomniac’s original title, Marvel’s Spider-Man, this game is by far one of the most phenomenal titles that PlayStation is going to reveal in their PS Plus subscriptions.
For those wondering, it's way too rare to see Spider-Man 2 joining hands with other games in the PS Plus subscriptions, as Sony revealed Spider-Man Remastered as a PS Plus addition in August 2025. With such a short timeframe to add another banger to the list, Sony, you have my respect!
Right off the bat, two more games titled Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown and Neva, are behind this AAA exclusive to get their gameplay registered in the PS Plus February lineup. These games will be available to PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium members from February 17, 2026.
In the meantime, PS Plus members can enjoy recently added games like Undisputed, SubNautica: Below Zero, Ultros, and Ace Combat 7 : Skies Unknown.
PlayStation Plus February 2026 Lineup : A Pretty Good Month for Spider-Man Fans
If you still haven’t played Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, then it's your time to explore the PS Plus Extra and Premium plans, as this sequel is on its way to become a bumper deal in PlayStation Plus. Released on October 20, 2023, Insomniac’s Spider-Man 2 revolves around Peter Parker and Miles Morales. Being a standalone from the spidey universe, the game takes place in New York with Peter’s arch-nemesis, Harry Osborne, on the frontline.
The sequel delves deeper into Miles Morales inner conflicts and the mutation of Harry with the Symbiote, which acts as the major twist from the original storyline. A perfect blend of humor, brotherhood, and high-voltage, cinematic combats you should not miss.
Undoubtedly, one of the best Insomniac games you can experience before the release of Marvel’s Wolverine.
