Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, developed by Gearbox Software and published by 2K, is a standalone spin-off of the Borderlands series inspired by the fan-favorite DLC Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep. Reimagined as a full fantasy role-playing shooter, the game combines high-energy gunplay with magic, melee combat and tabletop RPG mechanics.
 

Players enter a whimsical and unpredictable fantasy realm known as the Wonderlands, where the eccentric and explosive Tiny Tina serves as the unpredictable Dungeon Master. Instead of traditional sci-fi settings, the game embraces swords, spells, skeletons, dragons and castles—while still retaining Borderlands’ signature humor and chaotic combat.
 

Unlike previous Borderlands titles, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands introduces a class-based system. Players choose from unique character classes such as the Spellshot, Graveborn, Brr-Zerker, Clawbringer, Spore Warden and Stabbomancer, each offering distinct abilities, skill trees and playstyles. Spells replace grenades, adding cooldown-based magical attacks like fireballs, lightning strikes and summoning spells.
 

The game also features a customizable player character, including appearance, voice and background, giving players greater RPG flexibility. Combat blends firearms, melee weapons, spells and action skills into fast-paced encounters against fantastical enemies.
 

Exploration takes place across traditional zones and a unique overworld map styled like a tabletop board game, complete with dice rolls, random encounters and secrets. Cooperative multiplayer supports both online and local play, with level scaling that allows friends of different progress levels to team up seamlessly.
